Laser Components has introduced a new range of laser diode modules, with narrow linewidth sources for use in Raman spectroscopy and shifted-excitation Raman difference spectroscopy applications. Two new devices are available, one featuring 784.5 nm (600 mW) and 785.5 nm (600 mW) sources and another featuring 785 nm (600 mW) and 1064 nm (600 mW). The two wavelength beams are coupled into a single fibre such that both wavelengths share the fibre. For the 784.5/785.5 nm module fluorescence is minimised. The 12-pin modules have integrated TECs and are wavelength stabilised, featuring temperature drifts as low as 0.01 nm °C–1.
