Synapt G2-S HDMS
The Synapt G2-S high definition mass spectrometer has been introduced by Waters, incorporating both high-sensitivity StepWave ion transfer optics and Triwave ion mobility technologies along with a suite of new informatics tools for improved qualitative and quantitative high-resolution performance. The ion-transfer optics technology employs an off-axis design for increased efficiency of ion transfer from the ion source to the MS analyser, eliminating undesirable neutral contaminants. Additional software includes MSE data view for visualisation, processing and interpretation of multi-dimensional MS or HDMS data, high definition imaging software for leveraging the ability of ion mobility separations, dedicated proteomics and biopharmaceutical software application managers for supporting HDMSE data processing and reporting, improved ease-of-use features and the ability to combine faster spectra acquisition rates with new embedded algorithms to optimise data-dependent analysis to deliver high quality MS/MS spectra for compound identification or protein quantification by isotope labelling.
