Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and BIOCRATES Life Sciences AG have launched a ready-to-use kit for accurate and confident metabolic phenotyping on high-resolution mass spectrometry instruments. As part of a co-marketing agreement, the companies will jointly promote and market the combined use of the kit and Thermo Fisher’s Q Exactive high-resolution, accurate-mass (HRAM) platform of mass spectrometers. The new BIOCRATES AbsoluteIDQ p400 HR kit is the industry’s first, comprehensive kit for targeted metabolomics analysis. With the new kit, scientists can analyse up to 408 key metabolites, covering 11 central metabolite classes, using just 10 µL of biofluidic sample volume. Supported by BIOCRATES MetIDQ software, scientists can achieve automated workflow-controlled processing of up to 82 samples per kit.
